I don't give a flying fart who knows I voted for Biden or who knows I voted for Schwartzenager etc, I vote who I want and screw what people think. I realize some people are not like that, and in some cases people can lose their jobs (Even though thats illegal) or not be promoted or even worse crap if they vote a certain way in a certain district. That being said, making it optional would avoid that problem, but whatever, doubt it'll matter with our 2 party system anyway.
