Actually, she just makes a guess that they didn't have food on them. She says she doesn't know what was on the vans, just that "they weren't big enough to have food for 2/3rds of the people on them."

First she says the vans didn't have food taken out of them. Then she admits she didn't actually see/doesn't know. Then she makes her guess that it wasn't food based on the size of the vans, which is... Dumb:

EDIT: I admit my initial post paraphrased with some liberties, but her entire argument right there hinges on "Well I don't know the vans didn't have food because I didn't actually see it, but they weren't big enough to have food for 2/3rds of the workers so they must have been cheating vans" which is.... uhm.
