I agree.

But when your work is nothing but a string of tropes that were good in other works (because they were built up to in them) in a row without rhyme, reason, humanity, pacing, sense, emotion, meaning sometimes even context then it's a mess.

TOLU2 Plays an extremely boring sequence of the writers going "Here's things I thought were cool in other games/movies."

And if that's your thing then great, it's just a shame for the industry that such low low low low standards are being popularized.

I speak no Hyperbole when I say Spyro the Dragon had a more developed and consistent story. And that was for small children
