Tavern down the road from me, under new ownership by a guy who invested his life savings to buy the place, picked the shittiest time ever to buy a tavern. I drop in every so often for a sandwich and a beer to support him. Local community is helping him to thrive a little more than many during COVID. Other than that will definitely go for fast food over chains.
