I think I've been inside a sit-down restaurant of my own volition (so, not counting keeping up social appearances)

If I bother to go out to eat anymore it's definitely to a local place. Tavern down the road from me, under new ownership by a guy who invested his life savings to buy the place, picked the shittiest time ever to buy a tavern. I drop in every so often for a sandwich and a beer to support him. Local community is helping him to thrive a little more than many during COVID.
Other than that will definitely go for fast food over chains. Honestly the food at chains like Applebees (and I used to love Applebees) have gone so downhill, quality of food seems to keep going down while prices keep going up, not my thing anymore. --- The Phantom has spoken! ...
