Apparently it's the word for when a leader who was legitimately elected resorts to less legitimate means to remain in power. Now, asking the courts to overturn an election isn't necessarily illegitimate. But asking the courts to overturn an election, and telling the public that there was voter fraud, when you're unable to provide substantial evidence of such fraud to the courts...
