I am definitely a hoarder. There are a few times it has paid off (Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is the best example here; burn through all your status/utility staves before that final battle, and you'll regret it) but mostly it means I end the game with loads of treasure. Good for the retirement funds of our brave heroes, I suppose.
