(First Thoughts: Pretty decent dungeon theme. Its upbeat without being annoying, but doesnt inspire much of a writeup.)

Its a fine dungeon theme, but Id be lying if I said any real reaction or thoughts about it.

I was listening to a best 3d0 music video compilation in search of something to nominate somewhere (Id decided I was going to nominate a 3d0 song, in spite of not being able to name a single 3d0 song I cared about in the least) and was instantly blown away by this songs opening. That intro, why, Id convinced myself that it was going to be the greatest song of all time and frantically searched for a complete version of this song.

Imagine my disappointment when I learned that the track was less than a minute long and it never really went anywhere after that intro. Still, I love the opening moments of the song enough that I do come back and listen to it fairly often, in spite of it being so short and never really going anywhere.

[Final Thoughts: Im afraid I still dont have any further reactions to the song. Its obviously good and I like it, but I cant find anything to talk about with it.]

(First Thoughts: Not bad, but a bit too shouty and I dont have much reaction to it.)

It feels like a song about Doom. In Armageddon without a weapon, pushing forward to the next level. Very doom-y and first person shooter-y.

I dont like Doom.

I want to like this song. Its got references to demons and what not, but its a genre I dont usually love attached to a song that feels like it came directly out of a series I dislike, so I dont really like it all that much... I mean, its good, its quite close to being at the level where I can say I like this without any added caveats, but its just too Doom-y.

[Final Thoughts: Im afraid that this is one of those songs where Im just bouncing off of it on the last listen. ]
