I'd say that's mostly fair for Barbara though you could argue it was the serial killer who messed her up. Not Jerome though. He killed his mom because he was crazy, not the other way around.

Also, fair warning. Gotham is pretty good, but it is one of the stupidest shows I've ever watched.

The stuff with Bruce/Barbara is just dumb because no one acts like human beings

Fish/Dollmaker and Penguin/Riddler too but at least their shit made up for it being entertaining

I can't for the life me wrap my head around why they keep inserting tadpole Bruce Wayne into the story . Boring and nonsensical and destroys the pace

Just boot his ass to boarding school, kill Barbara then focus on the actual interesting characters

I mean we haven't even seen Mad Hatter yet and he's tailor made for this show. But we get 9 hours of Bruce agnsting about puberty in his mansion and talking like M Night Shyamalan wrote his dialogue while taking inspiration from Hideo Kojima
