(First Thoughts: While I do like how it ramps up in tension, its only like 20 seconds long. It manages to hit the very tense feeling I want it to invoke and its a well-done 20 seconds, but it needs to be longer to escape the low 50s.)

*shrugs* Or not, Ill move an extremely short song up to the mid 60s if I feel like it.

Its a very suspenseful and intense 20 seconds that I highly enjoy, but it obviously leaves me wanting more. It also just seems to stop rather abruptly; we steadily build up in pressure and intensity and then... stop. Theres no grand crescendo that becomes completely overwhelming, nor is there any cooldown period to relax. It just...stops. Which, I guess, can work in context, but just feels unsatisfying here.

(First Thoughts: I didnt remember there was a remix of Confronting Myself. Its pretty neat; not as good as the original, but more interesting because Im less familiar with it.)

Its still a nifty song, but once the surprise of finding it has worn off, it loses some of its novelty and impact. Especially since I see no reason Id ever pick this song over Confronting Myself, which doesnt leave much room for this song at allif youre not even the best version of a specific song at this ranking, where do you wind up? Mid-to-upper 60s, I guess.

[Final Thoughts: Im going to stick with nifty as the main adjective.]
