I've seen people lose fingers, get their hands crushed in a machine etc. Last year someone got their entire arm covered in hot-melt glue. They had to get a skin graft. A few years back I put a staple thru my finger. I'm talking about one of the big staple guns that run on compressed air. It went right thru my nail and then out the other side and then folded over.
