Its been shown that social distancing is far more effective than masks especially considering the shitty masks people used often worn improperly. Often times, the masks don't properly fit people's faces because people all have distinct facial structures and then you have people with beards. Better than nothing i suppose but often times these masks are doing very little because they're shit quality and aren't fitted well
