I'm not saying it's one of the best mice ever or anything, I'm not that experience with all the different types out there, but it's reasonably priced, it's held up for years now (even after I started playing mouse heavy PC games more), it has all the buttons I need, and you can modify the DPI and switch between different DPI settings with a click of a button.
