To be fair, Symphogear is probably the easiest series to see as a muso game since it has a lot of fodder.

There's a lot of potential playable characters with wildly different weapons and fighting styles too. Just the nine Symphogear users shown in the anime (Hibiki, Tsubasa, Chris, Maria, Kirika, Shirabe, Kanade, Miku, and Serena) allow for like 20 different possible movesets through various alternate forms. Throw in villains like Carol and capable side characters like Genjuro and you could make a roster of 30+ characters even without digging into the alternate universe stuff seen in the XDU mobile game.

Plus, as you said, there's dozens of different types of Noise they could use as enemies, plus boss battles against giant Noise or villain characters.
