I really hope you aren't taking a "modern" approach just because of how other sites work. One of the main things I like about this forum is the lack of modern trends. I like that there aren't up/down votes, I like that there aren't avatar pics, sig pics, etc cluttering everything, I like that topics have activity based on actual posts instead of trending based on clicks or views, I like that there's no "reputation"; everyone is just given a username and everyone can post as just people posting without a bunch of muddled stuff. If you make any systematic changes like that, I guess you are the admin and it's your say, but I'm throwing this out for you to either reconsider or maybe take in more feedback, since this isn't a very big site anymore and the people that are on it have probably grown to like these things. We can go anywhere else for that style of forum. On second thought, if this is your primary job/income and you need to mold to modern trends to make ends meet, I guess I can't blame you for that.
