As a "oh she did the same thing". Which to me is totally absurd. The issue with the editor is that she was disparaging Asians as bad people. This woman, as far as I can tell, is doing no such thing. I wouldn't use wording like she does and if she should be cancelled as well, I don't care. I just think it's ridiculous to sideline the two situations as if they were the same. That's really the point of the story. To say the person who called for the termination of this other person is a hypocrite because she did the same thing. I don't think jokingly using racially insensitive language is anything remotely close to blaming your ASIAN teaching assistant for your bad grade. --- "That thick shaft that causes women to shudder!" ...
