Your job is to help get more people to the left. Talk to your parents and grandparents and get them out of that mindset. Why the gut reaction to condemning someone forever instead of accepting their positive change and moving on? It's been a while since I've had any direct racism pointed at me (despite living in Georgia), maybe because I'm Indian subcontinent Asian. Still my nephew and niece are young (four and two) and mixed and I really don't want them to face a lot of the subtle racism me and my sister experienced. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
