He is considered a prophet, just not the son of GOD. But they have Muhammad. Who I do believe was a prophet that was close with GOD. I know it is offense to Muslims to talk about muhammad in that kind of way, but it's true. I need to read the Quran for myself but I hear that in the first half he talks about the love of GOD and then about half way he takes a turn toward more violent stuff or something like that. Been a while since I read up on it. So I apologize for my ignorance on the matter.
