During that time, until the most recent period, our population never exceeded 15 million across the whole planet, and was usually around only 1 million. For the first 100,000 of those years, we stayed in Africa. It was about 125,000 years ago we started to harness fire. It was ~15,000 years ago we domesticated wolves, and then 11,000 years ago that we domesticated goats, pigs, and sheep, then horses, etc. It was about 14,000 years ago that humans started settling and developing rather than just wandering around aimlessly. It was only ~5000 years ago we started writing. We only discovered wheels ~4000 years ago, which could be used to move people and things around quickly. Basically we spent a long time bumbling around, and we only really started developing/advancing very recently. --- Talking about video games? it's ok to just disagree with each other on the internet.
