Either you have to prove that your ancestors were slaves, which would create INSANE division in Black communities and cause even more violence within their own communities, or you cut a check to everyone based on their skin color, regardless of if their ancestors were ever enslaved. If you're still going with it ostensibly being about "reparations for slavery" and not "reparations for all the suppression the Black/POC community as a whole has suffered" At the end of the day, there is no scenario where paying reparations doesn't end in somebody dying as a result of it. ...
