I'm actually in a similar situation. 34 years old, got a not-so-versatile college degree in a branch with little job security, and I've been a security guard for 14 years now.

Like you, I am healthy, with the exception of having very shitty concentration, which hinders me greatly in making career progress or doing thing like getting a driver's license. I'm currently getting psychological help for that, though it takes a very long time to get results.

Your idea of getting more education sounds good. It might be for the best if you pick something you do something you find interesting that has a wide job market. Especially consider stuff that younger people straight out of college/vocational school aren't likely to do.

I recently started doing a course in legal skills. I don't see myself becoming a lawyer or anything like that, but I do like to do work that's associated with integrity.

One time, CE triggered me so hard with their objectively wrong opinions that I accidentally punched myself in the balls.
