andylt 05/13/21 8:05:55 AM #19:	Lightning Strikes posted... 1-2 invalidated its own shock by teasing it before it happened, all of the promotional materials for the game, getting kind of side-tracked from that persons death by everything else that happened, then it kind of brings them back which harms the impact. I knew nothing about these games plot-wise when buying the first one (there was promo??), and I had absolutely no idea about the 1-2 twist. It completely threw me for a loop and was probably the moment that first hooked me into the series, so I have to give it props for that. I'll agree it's lessened later on but the moment itself still hit really hard. --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado.
