Topic | $10. What is 4x more? |

The Topic title is kind of unclear in the stating, and it can be taken a couple of ways. Saying "it costs 4x more than that", with that equaling $10, might mean that it's $40 more than $10, meaning $50. However, when I hear 4x more, I hear "4x as much", which would be 4x$10, equaling $40. I think most people (including myself) take it this way. --- http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111123223446/simpsons/images/9/99/K.png I didn't even give you my coat! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
