Yes. I'm relatively new to the series so I have no nostalgia blinders and this is such a step back from what you said. The absolute character assassination on Phoenix himself, the knock-off Maya in Trucy, Trucy speaking to the court in every case so far despite not being a lawyer, this current case... I do think that AA4 starts pretty strong. 4-1 is a top tier opening case and 4-2 is a pretty fun filler case. Sadly it absolutely falls apart past that. 4-3 is awful, and 4-4 shits on Phoenix as a character for absolutely no reason while being really poorly-structured. --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest.
