Not really, no. While there's ambiguity around the definition (particularly if somebody has high income but high expenses off-setting that income), somebody with nothing doesn't make somebody with $50k in the bank rich in a country with billionaires and a relatively high median salary. A $300k house isn't particularly high in many markets, and in fact that's LESS the median value of a new home in the US ($334k).

Uh average wages have dropped, especially for young people. 300k is above what a lot of people can afford, stop wealth shaming.

It's almost like that's why mortgages exist or something.
