It exists because humans agree that it exists. I don't get why we call it a social construct. I'd call it more of something of a functional construct. Now we have agreed on the standards of such, there's 24 hours in a day, 365 days a year, etc. An example of a social construct is money or the concept of currency, as people in society have agreed to give it importance/value. ... Strong social constructs rely on the human perspective and knowledge that does not just exist, but is rather constructed by society. The passage of "time"... okay, well, I guess we constructed the standard ... seconds, minutes, hours. but the concept and relativity to revolving around the sun is something that is still intrinsic in nature We just interpret it So... what do y'all think?
