Getting your first book published is like a lottery and I say that as somebody who has been lucky enough to win it. I know writers who are much better than me who are either unpublished or who took considerably longer than I did to get their first book out there. Then once you are published, success beyond that is also a lottery. Being a successful writer is probably about 95% luck and about 5% skill. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
