I do still write books and it supplements my income somewhat but I'm not expecting to ever get rich from it. I do it because I enjoy it. On a really good launch (for me) of a new book I'll make maybe 2/5s of my income from my main job back that year. Obviously by writing more books the longtime payments are increasing, but they're still very small after the initial bump. CosmicShadows posted... I would rather still have the skill.
