While not perfect, I've decided on around that combines at least two of them. For Round 7, users will be voting on the outcomes for each character rather than the characters themselves. It would be the +10 to +1 ranked vote that we've seen a couple of times up to this point. Here would be an example vote: +10 Zazi Guado ADVANCES +9 Giera Guado ELIMINATED +8 Nav Guado ELIMINATED +7 Noy Guado ADVANCES +6 Yumi Guado ADVANCES +5 Yumi Guado ELIMINATED +4 Giera Guado ADVANCES +3 Noy Guado ELIMINATED +2 Nav Guado ADVANCES +1 Zazi Guado ELIMINATED This combines the ranked list of Round 3 and the concept of voting to both advance and eliminate a character that we see in Round 5 (Boot and Immune). I dabbled with the idea of some GP equivalent, but since we are just exiting that round it seemed like it would be a little too iterative. This is something that can be workshopped in any potential future, but for now this is what I've settled on. So as for the results, let's say this is the final ranking: Noy Guado ELIMINATED Yumi Guado ELIMINATED Noy Guado ADVANCES Nav Guado ADVANCES Giera Guado ELIMINATED Zazi Guado ADVANCES Yumi Guado ADVANCES Zazi Guado ELIMINATED Nav Guado ELIMINATED Giera Guado ADVANCES The characters that would advance to the finals would be: Nav Guado Zazi Guado Giera Guado To score this round, I'll simply be going down the final ranked list until three characters have advanced to the finals due to process of elimination. In this instance, Noy and Yumi ELIMINATED were the two highest ranked outcomes, and thus leaves the three above as the finalists. This is where the potential controversy occurs as Noy Guado ADVANCES was also a Top 3 ranked results, but since Noy Guado ELIMINATED finished higher, it is the result that occurs. Meanwhile, Giera Guado ADVANCES finished dead last while Giera Guado ELIMINATED finished mid-table. However, more people wanted to see other characters eliminated, and so Giera sneaks his way into the finals. My concern is that this round potentially awards ambivalence more than anything else and potentially gets rid of the characters people are passionate about (in one way or another), but my hope is that since this is the Top 5 of the contest, every character remaining has some sort of passionate fanbase behind them. --- snowpork azuarc is OP. <cite>ZaziGuado posted [p:957233299] in Board 8's ...
