the "colourblindness" isn't real though. you were raised in a racist society. that society informs your views. pretending that that doesn't happen solves nothing.

"colourblindness" is an individualistic approach. remember: even if there were 0 racist people in the US, black people would still be significantly worse off than white people. that's part of what racism means. it cannot be fixed by ignoring it
