Even if Goku didn't "arrive" on earth, then all Roshis attention would have been on Krillin, who up until his teenage years, was a very different character than he ended up becoming. Krillin was kind of an ass. He started off hating Goku, seeing him as inferior and simple minded. Not wanting to lose to Goku was part of what got him through Roshi's training. Removing Goku from the equation would more likely result in a weaker Krillin than a stronger one. And this is assuming they even meet, seeing as Pilaf would've wished himself supreme ruler of Earth in the very first saga. Plus there were very capable fighters up until that point, as everyone in the original Dragonball timeline weren't super overpowered as Goku became during the Frieza timeline. The only real major difference would be that Piccolo wouldn't have been reborn, unless someone managed to defeat him, which was still possible if Tien chose to take him out. Tien was about to get killed by Drum before Goku, who is now stronger then when they fought, showed up and saved him. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
