TopicI don't get why so people hate Facebook, when Reddit/Twitter are more harmful

HHH is the game posted...
Go to the politics sub on reddit for example, and see how left vs right news is treated. Im a democrat who HATES the reddit leftists, because of how extreme it is. Anything that criticizes the left is downvoted, while anything that praises the left or insults the right gets thousands of upvotes. The board has 7 million members.

I dont see how facebook can be worse than an echo chamber like that, especially considering on reddit downvoted comments get deleted and upvoted comments go straight to the top

And you can say the same for the conservative sub.

Facebook may have misinformation, but Reddit is responsible for the extremization and echo chambers of both sides. Its awful for society.

Personally I use all three, but its so weird seeing Facebook hated on while the other platforms that are just as bad are praised. ive seen way more harmful rhetoric on reddit and twitter than facebook

You are forgetting the part where Facebook steals all your personal info, even if you don't have a Facebook account, and sells it to anyone willing to pay.
