"SSD prices for PS5" are just "PCIe 4 SSD prices" (supposedly subject to some limitations around specs, though DarkRoast suggests that the limitations aren't enforced). You can just buy whatever one you like from a PC parts store and stick it in, you don't have to buy "the PS5 one". If you have a PC with a larger one and decide you need the space on the PS5 more, you could even literally swap the SSDs between the two (you'd have to wipe both, but you could use them).
