Part of my problem also comes from a report I read that Uber Eats would actually deduct their driver's fee from the tip the driver receives. Essentially you'd have to pay them a double tip in order for them to get both your tip and what they'd have been owed in full for doing the drop. I think that stopped eventually but it was shady AF and made me distrust the companies who send these drivers around. First and foremost they should be getting their commission from the service before any excess is added by the recipient. I sometimes will tip if I order delivery and it's raining (like a dollar, nothing big, but appreciative of making the drive in less than ideal conditions). --- It is more important to use your anonymity to upset other people than it is to do anything productive. ...
