So I live in a quiet neighborhood that's like a few tracts of townhouse developments and a couple cul-de-sacs with a few houses. To get to the community you have to walk on the side of a highway (no sidewalk) or drive down the highway.

So even before COVID it wasn't too poppin'. I think in 2019 we had like maybe a dozen or two families show up. Honestly this year we didn't even buy candy and put the decorations up and lights on.

Some neighbors did get together to do a candy table and social event... I just never feel the need to get out and talk. After living here a couple years I did convince the wife to go out with me and hang out and it was just really awkward.

idk I feel like if there were more activities I would go, maybe I should do that next year - take something like a halloween-themed cornhole set and some punch or something down there so people can at least do something while talking rather than just stand around. Bobbing for apples would be dope too but obviously terrible idea with the COVID.
