The objective of the movie for the hero is to reunite with his family. He is motivated by family, and the villain he comes upon on Christmas Eve is motivated by greed - the two faces of Christmas. Spending time with your family vs material greed. ...Also, the fact it ends with Let It Snow and actually has more Christmas songs and settings than a lot of traditional Christmas movies doesn't hurt. --- Join the club.
