I know I feel comforted by the fact that my lack of understanding could be met with my banning and cheers from others. But the purpose is explicitly to not make you comfortable and show zero tolerance for bigots. If you are somehow worried that people might treat you this way, then maybe don't publicly be a combative and bigoted weirdo about it like that other guy, and people won't.
