You understand that the reason for the mutations is because of the spread of the virus, yes. More vaccination = less spread. Less spread = less mutations. Less mutations = less need for vaccine. That's why vaccines are so encouraged. This is how we were able to defeat other viral diseases like polio and smallpox, for example.

It is honestly a modern wonder that over the course of hundreds of thousands of years humans have dealt with viral diseases, and only in the last couple hundred years have we finally found a way to beat viruses back. And yet, despite that, there is a surprisingly large number of people today fighting not to use it.
