I specifically remember the episode where elliot can't say penis or vagina, but a couple seasons earlier she tells JD "i'm gonna need a vagina transplant" after the daylong sexcapade.

That is a very small plothole though. And it could be argued that Elliot can say dirty words with people that she's intimate with.... maybe.
Regardless, that's still small compared to Ross first having sex with Carol when he also had sex with the cleaning lady in college.
