Are you familiar with Japan, outside of the Internet? Because there is so much more to Japan as a country, as a culture, that I can't imagine anyone coming to the conclusion you have based on that. Japanese people are amazing, and their culture is much the same - the entertainment products they create are such a small part of what makes the country great. Have you ever been there?
I was asked to go there, but turned it down. Don't want anything to do with that country. I'm sure it's great and all, and I know most of you would love to see it, but I'm not into it.
The whole love of anime and everything to do with that makes me sick. With that said, two of my best friends did go over there and told me about it, but it's not for me.
