PSN is free so you don't need to put any info in there, imagine that!
Except I made purchases of DLC on PSN and it's a bit of a pain in the ass to remove and put on your credit card for each and every purchase. Not to mention they didn't even encrypt your credit card. At least XBL does that.
Also, XBL has been shut down before iirc.
Down on occasion? Sure. Just like PSN has as well. But PSN was down for nearly a month. It was so bad that they insisted that you contact the three major credit companies to protect your credit file.
