So long as we can all agree that Crono, Marle, Robo and Ayla are very good battle-wise.
Marle is super unimpressive outside Lifeline and has zero utility in an endgame setup. Lucca and the other character that isn't Frog have ridiculous Magic power combined with spells that let them be a threat without duals or triples. If I had to pick, I'd rank Robo and Crono top, Ayla following, then Lucca, the spoilers character, Marle, and Frog.
Maybe I just remember Marle totally wrong then. I was much more positive regarding the other three.
