Went to the doctor, who checked her out. Based on her current medical conditions, the doctor said that she won't be able to carry the child without undergoing excruciating pain for 9 months-- and the pain is already begun. To put it in perspective, when she tried using an IUD she was incapacitated for 2 weeks and had to go to the ER to have it removed. A baby is a lot bigger than an IUD.
So I am taking her for the abortion on Friday. I still feel horrible about this whole situation, and I am thinking that I don't deserve to ever be a father, but the fact that this is medically necessary (or at least, medically advised) is helping me sleep better at night-- maybe not better, but in the very least I am not thinking about killing myself anymore.
Oh, and my aunt has about a year to live.
