The Golden Rule is you treat everyone the way you would like to be treated yourself. How can you not know that?
And I follow it thoroughly. If I act like an idiot and bash someone whose family just got sick, I would expect and deserve to get the crap kicked out of me in the real world and if on the internet I would expect the entire topic to bash and dislike me. It's common sense. You don't dishonor something like this, ever, for any reason.
