It's a nice gesture, but Iwata's salary is only about $700,000 a year.
Like I said. He might make more in bonuses, but I'm not even sure about that. It's just a different culture in Japan and I think the idea of any exec making like $25 million a year would be seen as insulting by everyone, no matter their position on the corporate ladder.
