Oh come now, doomsaying like that is just silly.
It's hard to say gaming's dying when Catherine came out a week ago and EVO just ended with a better showing than ever before. Nevermind the fact that there's still quite a few good, quality companies, as well as a TON who still put out great games. Activision (and now by extension Blizzard) are bad, but to say they control the industry or are even a standard for it is nutty.
Don't bother trying to argue with him. He's the guy that insists there hasn't been a good game since PS2 in half of the topics he posts in.
