Also, I'm so glad to have a job where I'm not responsible for every shortage on a till

At Arbys, I was held accountable for the till, and there was a really small margin of error allowed. When it was just me on the till, I had the best record in the store, but I had to allow managers to take and cash out orders on my till frequently :(

Really? Just out of curiosity what was the margin of error? At McDonald's we were allowed to be over or under by $3.00 before anyone even cared at all. And I mean, unless you're just terrible at making change or something it's pretty hard to even be off by that much >__>

Margin of error was some small percent, I think somewhere around 3% or some low amount, like $5.00

And it was mostly easy to keep it free

But when you had to fight to keep people off it, only to be told I could not forbid my general and assistant manager to use it(and have it turn out my AS was stealing from it) there's not much you can do.
