Now for something quite obscure. Something that isn't as well known. Something that is the last NES game that I have planned for at the moment.

Oh, and to clarify things. I'm not cutting off NES games from the rest of the project, there just won't be any more till next month.

Game: Commando

System: NES

Time spent on the game: 19 minutes and 6 seconds(Like Popeye and Donkey Kong, I'm giving an exact time since it's so short.)

I'm gonna make this real short game's commentary quick.

This game, if you play it the way I just did as I type this down pure fun, and just enough challenge.

Basically, you go through a set of 4 levels, where you're a army man,(who if I remember reading years ago in some magazine is named Bazooka Joe.) and you go around shooting other army men in a top down non-auto scrolling shooter. Along the way you'll also come across what at least seem to be indestrucable vehicles which try to kill you as well.

At the end of each level is a militarty fortress, which you must kill all army men that show up around it. Do this, and you beat the level. At the 4th level, you blow up the fortress, beating the game as you are taken away via a helicopter, and put on the next difficulty.

Is the game special? Absolutely not, but it is quite fun. Something great to play when you're bored.

Again, I have a small amount more to say, but I'll save it for the forum in the link in my sig.

Ok, now for the last B&W Game Boy title for the month, and The Project's first Mario title(that I've published.)
