God this game is underrated!

First of all, let me say that I played, the color and graphics edition, version 3.0. If I remember correctly, this is the first game I've played on this project that doesn't use the official version.

Anyways, this game just has a lot to offer that the NES version doesn't. For one, you can actually pick up coins with your shots of...well, I'm not sure what you shoot in this game, but it's definitely not your SMB1 fire attack, as it reflects all over the place, and is actually colored blue.

Anyways, I made my way through to level 4-3, and encountered some serious glitches(which were probably due to this being a modified version). The cloud boss before the final one...well when you kill it, all that would happen was a regular, unkillable koopa would show up. after reloading a state a few times, eventually the last boss. Yeah, Bowser has nothing to do with the Black and White Game Boy Mario titles.

The last boss is an alien named (Tatanga, if memory serves me right.)actually showed up. He sure took a a while to take out with Mario in his fighter space ship, and I honestly, didn't realize that he even was the last boss. I thought that there were 2 other levels. The game ends with you finding the real Daisy(yeah, this is the first game which features Daisy if I recall correctly. Donkey Kong has Pauline.), as you escape with her in a spaceship, with the area behind you exploding as the credits roll.

Quite satisfying I'd say, even if it is a bit too short. I have a small amount more to say, but I'll save it for the board in my sig.

Up tomorrow: We end this month with my childhood best friend's favorite game.
