Rorona is basically Mana Khemia without a decent combat system and WAAAAY more emphasis on Alchemy. It's more like Harvest Moon than a regular RPG and most people would be bored of it quickly, but it's addictive in its own way.
Go buy Mana Khemia for $20 new or less and see if you like the alchemy aspect of it, imo. Haven't played the other Atelier games so I can't compare it to them, and there's not much else that plays like these games, but I don't see any ways Rorona's better than Mana Khemia yet except better alchemy!
You can teach Morrigan some heals (it's highly recommended btw), but she will always be stuck with the crappy Shapeshifter specialisation, while Wynne starts with the much better Spirit Healer specialisation.
I got through the game just fine with Morrigan as my healer though (using an assload of pultices, admittedly), so feel free to keep her as your healer.
Shapeshifter's bad? >_> it seems kinda neat, though defeats the purpose of spellcasting and I haven't used it except in the Rift place when she was solo at Redcliffe. I'm mostly stacking Ice spells on her now.
Also holy crap what you can be gay with the elf assassin guy I just got?! At least Alistair doesn't want me... ;__;
Also, Rorona. The game doesn't automatically save the system data. This means gallery pictures, pretty much. So if you don't want your image gallery to be tragically empty when you finish the game just change the volume or something each time you're done playing to force a system data save.
What the. Seriously? So I have to make it save before I go to turn off the PS3 every time? >_>
